We are happy to share with you this live video from his latest single ‘Sonbila’ to be featured on his new album

Born under a lucky star in the northwest of Burkina Faso Faso, in a village called [Oia], his destiny was all set.
His name alone constitutes his cultural heritage: He is a griot, [Anou] in his original dialect.
Traditional West African instruments revisited, steeped in many musical genres and with a definitively
contemporary vision , Oua-Anou Diarra is in constant dialogue with his instruments.
His instrument of choice is the Guinean Peul flute, also known as the Mandingo flute, an instrument
he has mastered from an early age and which he plays in a very embodied way.
Seing him live and you will discover all the different flutes he plays along live loop station he also masters perfectly.
He is also a virtuoso of this small percussion called the Tamani, an armpit drum with a bewitching
eloquence that holds few secrets for him.

He caresses the calabash with his hands and sticks, and reveals the Blues influences of his
with the Djéli n’goni (griot’s lute). Unparalleled dexterity, phlegm and patience
that leaves room for sensations and sharing.
Between oral tradition and new technologies equally at ease in creation and improvisation as in musical accompaniment, Oua-AnouDiarra plays with the present moment and draws his energy from the complicity he has with his instruments and the universe of the moment.
and the world of the moment. He frees himself from musical boundaries, allowing a crossroads of styles and feelings.
Oua-Anou DIARRA is the young géneration that plays a key role in the cultural heritage , sometimes reminds us of the great griots like Ballake Sissoko & Baba Sissoko, listening to their music is like pure medecine that will move your karma to the right place :

His open-mindedness and singular talent lead him to artistic collaborations as rich unexpected artistic collaborations from transe electronic music or classical music , such as a full album called « Alter Ego »with L’Orchestre Régional de Normandie. And most recently released an EP called Kayira EP with producers Karmaâ · Max TenRoM that takes his music on another level.
