Sadisco

Sadisco (Satoru) was born in Hokkaido, Japan. After graduating from high school, he pursued his passion for music at ESP Musical Academy. In 2006, he formed the hip hop group Uptown 5.

In 2014, he became part of Europe-based Frission Radio, where he also launched his own show Sadisco on Frission Radio. In 2015, the show won the Best World Music Award at the Online Radio Awards organized by Mixcloud, NTS, and SXSW. The following year, in 2016, The Jazz Pit show, to which he contributed as an artworker, won the Best Jazz Show award from Mixcloud’s Online Radio Awards.

Around the same time, he joined My Bags Records (France) as a selector and produced numerous shows. Many of Sadisco’s mixes for both My Bags Records and Frission Radio reached the top of the Mixcloud charts and held their positions for long periods.

Now, Sadisco is excited to begin a new chapter with Ness Radio, sharing his unique musical vision and selections with a global audience.
