Wriggly Scott, or DJ Solo, or Neil Andrew is originally from the U.K. and has been based in Dubai for 8 years. In that time he has firmly established himself at the forefront of the U.A.E. music scene, performing regularly around town and founding and co-founding the successful nights Elefant Sounds, On The Corner, Freshly Laced and DUST. His sets are a riotous collage that take you from Latin to Electronic to Hip Hop to Boogie with everything in between. He has shared the stage with Jazzy Jeff, Quantic, DJ Woody, DJ Format, Florian Keller, Mad Mats, Nickodemus and Benji B to mention a few.
A lot of Wriggly’s musical movements involve production and 2011 saw his first commercial music release via the London-based label Dented Records. The release ‘Who Is Wriggly Scott?’ was received extremely well, with the leading track ‘Parts Unknown’ ft. J-Live reaching No.1 in the U.S. College Radio charts. Further establishing himself as integral to the U.A.E. music scene he was part of the well-renowned crew Diligent Thought and currently Employees Of The Month. He’s currently working towards the release of his next EP ‘Names’ on his own netlabel Another Music in early 2012.
