The Butterfly that Grew from Concrete | Mixed by ELMNT

This mix pulled inspiration from Tupac Shakur’s life dialogue; an open conversation with his listeners and the world about his intentions and battled efforts to raise social awareness. I mixed records from collaborators on Kendrick Lamar’s latest album titled ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’, aiming at creating something that portrays a similar struggle Pac was talking about, with a newer context revisited in TPAB.
